Who We Are
The Cars for Charities Rod & Custom Car Show is one of the longest running indoor car shows in the country. The show first started in 1957 by car builder Darryl Starbird. In 2011, the show was purchased by Cars for Charities Co. a 501(c)(3) organization and was transformed into a charity event. From 2012 thru 2017 the Show was known as the “Starbird-Devlin Rod & Customs Charities Car Show”. The show is now “The Cars for Charities Rod & Custom Car Show” to better reflect the board’s goals and objectives.
“A Wichita Tradition Since 1957”.
Our Cause
We are a group of like-minded individuals who share a passion for our two local charities and a love of cars. Together with the efforts of many volunteers, the support of our sponsors and the dedication of loyal car owners, we’re working diligently to raise our goal of $2 million dollars for our charities.
The Cars for Charities Rod & Custom Car Show is the biggest indoor show in Kansas. Spanning over all three Exhibit Halls of Century II, the show features hundreds of amazing local cars, show cars from all parts of the country, vendor exhibits, a popular free Kid’s Zone and so much more!
Dates
The Cars for Charities Rod & Custom Car Show is a two-day event held annually the 3rd week in January.
